About Tom Ramage

Tom Ramage is an Economic Policy Analyst at the Korea Economic Institute of America where he provides research and analysis relating to U.S.-Korea trade issues. As part of his responsibilities, he edits KEI’s quarterly economic policy newsletter and assists in putting together KEI’s conferences and events.

Prior to joining KEI, Tom served as an Analyst at Thomson Reuters Special Services as well as a Policy Research Fellow at the Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies at Johns Hopkins University. He additionally served as a Trade and Economic Affairs Intern at the Asia Society Policy Institute (ASPI) in Washington, DC. From 2016 to 2018, Tom was a Peace Corps Volunteer in China based in Sichuan province. Tom earned an MA degree focusing on International Economics and China Studies from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). He received a BA from Hobart College where he participated in an academic exchange program at Yonsei University in Seoul.
