Dr. Sungjin Park is an industry expert for smart cities at LGU+ with two decades of experience in the field. Her journey began as a city planner at the Incheon Institute. Following the completion of her Ph.D. in urban planning and policy in the United States, she embarked on an eight-year tenure with Samsung SDS as a smart city consultant, specializing in the execution of various smart city consulting projects.
In 2021, Dr. Park transitioned to the LG smart city team and has been dedicated to driving service innovations, leading project implementations, and spearheading business developments for Sejong and Busan National Pilot Cities, a prominent K-smart city initiative in South Korea. Additionally, Dr. Park is highly engaged as a speaker within the realm of smart cities, sharing her expertise and insights at various conferences and events.
