About Joo Young Kim

Joo Young Kim is a graduate student in the MS in Foreign Service program at Georgetown University, with a concentration in global politics and security, and a geographic focus on Asia. Prior to this, he served as an officer in the Republic of Korea Navy and as a civilian specialist for the United States Army. His research interests are Korea-Japan-United States trilateral cooperation, power dynamics in the Indo-Pacific, and security cooperation. He has a BS in Accounting from Messiah University.
