South Korea Moves Closer to Launching Its First Lunar Orbiter

On September 4, KEI Senior Director Troy Stagnarone published a column with The Diplomat that explored South Korea’s growing ambitions in space. He placed special emphasis on the country’s Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter (KPLO) program, which will not only support the resurgent U.S. space program but also help Korea place an unmanned lander on the moon.
