KEI Spotlight

March 22-23, 2012 – The Korea Economic Institute and the World Affairs Council of Atlanta hosted a Future of Korea program featuring the following participants:

Joshua Huck, ROK Unit Chief, Office of Korean Affairs, U.S. Department of State

Sangmin Lee, First Secretary, Embassy of the Republic of Korea

The speakers presented at a series of events that addressed political security, economic and trade issues pertaining to U.S.-Korea relations and the future of the Korean peninsula.  On the first day, the speakers met with local political, business, and community leaders to raise awareness of Korea-related issues. On the second day, they were engaged with the students of Georgia State University at a student forum.
