Possibilities in Conflict Resolution Work with North Korea: An Alumna Shares Her Experiences

On November 16, students at Kalamazoo College will participate in KEI’s Six Party Talks simulation.

Their task: While representing one of the nations included in the Six Party Talks, students attempted to negotiate an agreement that will lay the groundwork to solving the nuclear crisis and other human security concerns in and around North Korea, whilst keeping their country’s interests in mind. Following the simulation, students will participate in a discussion, facilitated by KEI’s Nicole Finnemann about the real life status and prospects for the Six Party Talks and inter-Korean relations.
