Every year, KEI celebrates Korean American Day by recognizing members of the community who made important contributions to the United States. This year, we honor Dr. Young-mee Yu Cho, Associate Professor of Korean Language and Culture at Rutgers University, and Dr. Sahie Kang, Director of School of Korean at Middlebury College for their work in promoting and expanding Korean language education in the United States.
RSVP today to receive a link to our special YouTube event on January 13, featuring the honorees and KEI president and CEO, Ambassador (ret.) Katheleen Stephens. We will discuss the evolution of Korean language education and its role in deepening American understanding of Korea. See you at the event!
