LEE Siwook is the President of Korea Institute for International Economic Policy. Prior to his appointment in 2023, President Lee was a research fellow at KDI and as a professor in the Department of Economics at Myongji University. He has also held various key positions at KDI, including Director of the Center for Regulatory Studies, Editor-in-Chief of the KDI Journal of Economic Policy, and Associate Dean of Planning and External Affairs at the KDI School. He continues to contribute as a professor at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management and previously served as president of the Korean Association of Trade and Industry Studies (KATIS) in 2022. His research focuses on trade and industrial policy, economic development, and industrial organization.
