On May 24, The Diplomat published an article by KEI Director of Communications, Jenna Gibson, entitled "Korea’s Other Sunshine Policy: Indoor lifestyles could cause a health crisis in South Korea." The piece describes how Korean children are spending only half an hour outside each day, causing health concerns ranging from vitamin D deficiency to nearsightedness.
