February 2, 2012 – The World Affairs Council of Inland Southern California hosted a Korea Economic Institute Future of Korea program featuring:
Minister Gheewhan Kim, Minister for Economic Affairs, Embassy of the Republic of Korea
Dr. Abraham Kim, Vice President, Korea Economic Institute
Mr. Jacob Choi, DPRK Unit, Office of Korean Affairs, Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, U.S. Department of State
The speakers addressed political security, economic and trade issues pertaining to U.S.-Korea relations and the future of the Korean peninsula. The speakers also met with local political, business, and community leaders to raise awareness of Korea-related issues.
