2012 Olympics Soccer Viewing

July 26, 2012 – Korea Economic Institute, in partnership with the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Cultural Institute of the Embassy of Mexico, hosted a viewing of one of the first soccer matches of the 2012 Olympics.
The matchup between the Republic of Korea and Mexico brought out individuals from the DC policy community and the two Embassys to enjoy some sports diplomacy together while watching the game.
Although the game ended in a tie, the Republic of Korea and Mexico both made it out of their group and will be continuing onto the Round of 8.
