Following the KEI/MOFA-hosted second U.S.-Korea Joint Public-Private Economic Forum, several news outlets reported on its takeaways.
More than 120 prominent voices in the field of foreign policy, business, and technology – alongside government officials and aspiring academics – attended the event. The three sessions, which focused on U.S.-Korea relations, ROK's New Southern Policy, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, all looked to enhancing bilateral collaboration, particularly in the newly emerging digital space. In addition, panelists pressed the need for WTO reform to ensure continuity of a rules-based market system.
