Troy Stangarone on prospective 232 action on semiconductors

Speaking at a seminar co-hosted by KEI and Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), KEI Senior Director Troy Stangarone warned that ongoing trade disputes between the U.S. and China are likely to continue because both Republicans and Democrats are concerned over China’s unfair trade practices. In addition, he raised concerns that Section 232 investigation may not only hit Korea's auto manufacturing, but also its semiconductor industry.
