On September 24, students of the Maxwell School's International Relations program at Syracuse University, based in Washington D.C., participated in KEI's Six Party Talks simulation.
Their task: While representing one of the nations included in the Six Party Talks, students attempted to negotiate an agreement that will lay the groundwork to solving the nuclear crisis and other human security concerns in and around North Korea, whilst keeping their country's interests in mind. Following the simulation, students participated in a discussion, facilitated by KEI's Nicole Finnemann about the real life status and prospects for the Six Party Talks and inter-Korean relations.
