In the field of international security, relatively few connections have been made between the Korean peninsula and the Middle East. On October 21, Dr. Christina Lin presented her research highlighting the link between the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula and nuclear issues in the Middle East. Her presentation focused on the DPRK-Syria-Iran axis and ramifications for Israel and the ROK specifically and for the United States more broadly. In doing so, Dr. Lin reframes the debate on the current nuclear stalemate on the Korean peninsula. Her paper can be found on our website under Academic Paper Series.
