In addition, the President of Queens College, Felix Matos Rodriguez, and Professor Pyong Gap Min, Director of the Research Center for the Korean Community, also spoke. The Sixth District of New York included the largest number of residents of Korean descent out of any other Congressional district on the East Coast. Representative Meng serves on the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, which was once chaired by KEI President & CEO Donald Manzullo. This event is another in a series of initiatives launched by President Manzullo to directly engage with Members of Congress on issues affecting the U.S.-Korea relationship in their home districts.
