National Assemblyman Park Jin of the United Future Party was elected from Seoul’s Kangnam-eul District to the 21st National Assembly in South Korea’s April 15 legislative elections. National Assemblyman Park previously served 11 years in the Assembly (2002-2012), during which he also served as Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Trade & Unification Committee. Prior to being elected to the National Assembly in 2002, Representative Park held many positions in the Korean government, including Political Affairs Secretary to the President from 1996 to 1998 and Press Secretary to the President from 1993 to 1996.
