Olympics 2012 Soccer Viewing of Republic of Korea vs. Mexico

Event Description

The Republic of Korea, who will be returning to London where they had their Olympic debut in 1948, will be represented by the ROK national under-23 soccer team, which represents their country for the Olympic and Asian Games. The team, fondly known by Koreans as the Taegeuk Warriors, Tigers of Asia, or the Red Devils, will be competing under the guidance of coach Hong Myung-Bo and the leadership of Captain Koo Ja-Cheol.

Mexico, who is returning to the Olympics for the first time since the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, will also be represented by their national under-23 soccer team, who represents the country for the Olympic and Pan American Games. Their team, nicknamed El Tricolor (“The Tricolor”), will be competing under the direction of Head Coach Luis Fernando Tena.
