Event Description

In recent years, Korea’s international trade has faced challenges. These include China’s response to the deployment of the U.S. anti-missile defense system (THAAD), U.S.-China trade disputes, U.S. restrictions on steel imports from Korea, amendment of the Korea-U.S. FTA, the Korea-Japan trade dispute, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Each of these events have affected Korea’s trade, directly or indirectly.

Please join KEI for a discussion with former Korean Trade Minister Bark Taeho on how Korea has responded to disruptions to trade in recent years.

The conversation will be livestreamed on YouTube.
