Professor Gordon Flake is the founding CEO of the Perth USAsia Centre at The University of Western Australia. He is one of Australia’s leading authorities on the Indo-Pacific, with a particular specialization on Korea having spent nearly three decades focused on the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia.

As countries contain COVID-19 and restart their economies, attention will turn to the performance of existing international institutions during the crisis and how best to reform them. One suggested reform is to expand the G-7 to include South Korea and Australia, perhaps among other countries. Join us for a discussion of the future of international institutions and the potential role of South Korea and Australia in those reformed institutions.

This event will be livestreamed on Zoom with an interactive Q&A session.

Please RSVP to receive the webinar link on the day of the event.
