The Center for Japan-U.S. Business and Economic Studies of New York University, the Korea Economic Institute (KEI), and the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) will host the nineteenth annual U.S.-Korea Academic Symposium, which this year will be on “Shifting Strategic and Political Relations with the Koreas,” at New York University in New York City from September 16–18. The symposium brings together leading policymakers, scholars, and analysts from the United States and throughout the Asia-Pacific region to examine issues of mutual concern. Symposium proceedings are published in KEI’s Joint U.S.-Korea Academic Studies, which is distributed to over two thousand of the world’s leading Korea watchers.
