Event Description

KEI is pleased to host Ms. Anne Wu of Harvard University at a roundtable luncheon event for presentation of her paper, “Denuclearization of the DPRK: A Role for the United Nations?” Ms. Wu’s timely paper highlights the evolving role that the UN has played in DPRK matters. In light of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference set for 2010, she addresses whether the UN can afford to take a back seat in the denuclearization of North Korea. A comprehensive piece, Ms. Wu’s paper also examines the overall prospects and potential for a UN role in conjunction with the Six Party Talks.

Please join Ms. Wu and KEI on Wednesday, July 9 as she asks, “Does the UN matter?”
