To mark the publication of KEI’s 31st volume of our Joint U.S.-Korea Academic Studies, please join us for a discussion of three distinct approaches to understanding perhaps the most consequential recent development in international affairs: the intensifying competition between the United States and China.
Dr. Gil Rozman, Editor-in-Chief of the Joint U.S.-Korea Academic Studies, will provide overviews of each of the three sections of the volume as well as his contribution analyzing Xi Jinping’s geopolitical framework for Northeast Asia. Dr. Scott Harold will present his findings on how national identity is reshaping U.S. views of relations with China and former member of Congress Charles Boustany, M.D. will elaborate on what he sees as America’s strategic choices to China’s economic rise.
We hope this timely discussion and the accompanying volume will bolster ongoing conversations on the evolving geopolitical environment in the Indo-Pacific.
This event will be livestreamed on Zoom with an interactive Q&A session.
Please RSVP to receive the webinar link on the day of the event.
