On January 13, from 12:00 to 2:30PM, the Korea Economic Institute (KEI) will be hosting “A Celebration of Korean-American Day.” The event, in honor of the many outstanding contributions of Korean-Americans, will include a keynote address by The Honorable Alexander Vershbow, who will reflect on U.S.-Korea relations and his three years as U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, and the role that Korean-Americans have played in securing America’s prosperity and freedom.
The program will also feature a panel presentation by and discussion with many prominent Korean-Americans, to include: Ms. Grace Chung Becker, U.S. Department of Justice; Mr. Sam Yoon, Boston City Council; and Mr. David J. Kim, C2 Education Centers.
This luncheon event will take place in the Crystal Room of the Willard InterContinental Hotel at 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington, DC. The luncheon will be preceded by a reception in the Willard Room, beginning at 11:30 am.
