Although Korea has been a historically non-traditional actor in Africa, it has emerged as a key investor and development assistance provider in the recent years. The panel explored the uniqueness of the “Korean Approach” by examining the reasons African countries are partnering with Korea as opposed to other economic partners like China and the U.S. Finally, the panelists analyzed the importance of Public Private Partnership in Korea-Africa relations and sustainability of Africa’s economic development.
