Visiting Professor at University of North Korean Studies
Biography
Ambassador Sun Joun-yung is a former diplomat of the Republic of Korea, and is now a visiting professor at the University of North Korean Studies.
During his forty-year career at the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Sun held many senior positions in the Korean government, including Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador to Geneva and to the Czech Republic.
He was graduated from the Law College of the Seoul National University, and studied at the Graduate School of International Service of the American university.
