About Hyerim Kim

Hyerim Kim is a Lecturer at Seoul National University’s Graduate School of International Studies. Previously, she served as Deputy Director at the Republic of Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy and worked as a researcher at Kim & Chang, a leading law firm in South Korea.

Her expertise lies in international trade law and policy, with a particular focus on trade remedy measures, including anti-dumping duties, countervailing duties, and safeguard measures. She is also interested in WTO dispute settlement issues, regional free trade agreements, and comparative trade policies across different countries. Her research has been published in The World Economy and the Journal of World Trade.

Hyerim holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in International Commerce from Seoul National University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Yonsei University. She was also an exchange student at the University of California, Berkeley.
