Korea’s Economy is KEI’s annual journal publication dedicated to the key issues of the day for the Korean economy. Articles in Korea’s Economy are designed to give the casual, but informed reader insight into issues related to Korea’s markets and financial institutions, economic reform, economic relations with the wider world, and North Korea. It is published jointly each year with the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy.

Incredible change in the global economy over the past decade has shattered virtually everyone's expectations of what the next fifty years will look like, and Korea is no excpetion. The rise of developing countries like China, India, Turkey, and Brazil and the long-term competetiveness of the Korean economy necessitate strong action to shore up the foundations of the Korean economy and ensure its strength in the years to come. One avenue towards that goal has been the negotiation of the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreeement, or KORUS FTA. The ratification of the agreement would strengthen Korea's relationship with America, and will prove to be an unmitigated plus for the Korean economy.
