BOK Governor Kim Choongsoo Visits KEI

Visiting Washington DC for the World Bank / International Monetary Fund annual joint meeting, Governor Kim Wednesday spoke at the Korea Economic Institute on "The Current State of the Global Financial System and its Impact on Korea's Economy". A number of Korean news outlets mentioned his KEI appearance in their reporting of his visit to Washington DC, including Asia Today and Segye.
 

Korean Media Report on Amb. Pritchard's Support for Korean War Museum

The Korea Herald and Yonhap News both reported on KEI President Jack Pritchard's support for the building of a Korean War museum in New York City.  Pritchard was joined Tuesday by a group of American scholars and dignatories for the launch of a fresh campaign to have the museum built.  According to fellow supporter Victor Cha, the project “aims to build a world class museum in New York City with a mission to honor the veterans, educate citizens and future generations, preserve the legacy and history of the war and celebrate ‘the forgotten victory.’”

Dr. Abraham Kim's North Korea Trip Report Picked Up by Various Media Outlets

Having presented on a recent trip to North Korea at the Woodrow Wilson Center last week, several of Dr. Abraham Kim's visit photos were distributed through the Yonhap news wire to a number of Korean media outlets.  In addition, NK News, a North Korean news aggregation service, produced a full report on the presentation.
