March 5, 2019
YTN Radio spoke with KEI non-resident fellow Yonho Kim on the reactions in the United States to the outcome of the Hanoi Summit. Kim underscored that President Trump's comments on Otto Warmbier's death (specifically his confidence in the veracity of Kim Jong-un's statement that he knew nothing about his death) has elicited a critical response at home. Kim added that the president was further limited by Michael Cohen's testimony in Congress which may have made the president less tolerant of risk at the negotiating table.
