Biography
Soobeen Park is an Economic Research Intern at the Korea Economic Institute of America, where she supports the Economic Policy team. She conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis on U.S.-Korea trade and economic issues, contributes to KEI’s The Peninsula blog and newsletter, tracks developments on the Korean peninsula, and assists with data visualization.
Prior to joining KEI, Soobeen worked with the National Audubon Society’s Government Affairs team, where she analyzed federal legislation and supported congressional outreach. As an International Regulatory Affairs Analyst (Trade & Sustainability) at Dukjae Corporation, she monitored global environmental regulations and trade compliance. She holds a Master of Public Policy from American University, focusing on cost-benefit analysis and policy evaluation, and a BA in International Studies from Dongseo University.
