Lee Kyu Yub
Head of the New Strategy Team
Korea Institute of International Economic Policy
Dr. Lee Kyu Yub is the head of the New Strategy Team at the Korea Institute of International Economic Policy (KIEP). He is also the co-editor for the Journal of APEC Studies and the co-editor and advisor to the Monthly Trade magazine for the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy. Additionally, he serves as an advisor for the Committee on Intellectual Property Strategy of the Future in Korean Intellectual Property Office and for the Institutional Innovation Advisory Group in Personal Information Protection Commission. Previously, he was the head of the Trade and Investment Policy Team at KIEP.
Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. in economics from Michigan State University in 2015. Prior to KIEP, he served as an instructor at the Department of Economics at Michigan State University. He has also published numerous essays on trade, economics, and technology.
