KIM Won-soo is the former Under Secretary-General of the United Nations and the High Representative for Disarmament. As the Korean diplomat, he served as the Secretary to the ROK President for Foreign Affairs and Trade as well as for International Security at the Blue House. He also served as the Director General for Policy Planning and Ambassador for Regional Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is now the Chair of the International Advisory Board of the Future Consensus Institute (Yeosijae) and the Chair Professor of the Incheon National Univ in Korea as well as the member of the Group of Eminent Persons for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBTO) in Austria.
