Irene Kyoung is currently a Research Associate for the Korea program at Stanford University's Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center (APARC). At the Korea Program, Irene supports research projects regarding the South Korean perspective on the U.S.-China rivalry, Racism in Asia, and the ongoing Talent Flows project. Previously, she worked as a Policy Associate at the Korea Society. Irene holds a Master's degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations at Columbia University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Legal Studies with honors from Bowdoin College. Irene's hobbies include writing, playing the piano, and traveling. She is also fluent in Korean.
