Mr. Hyun-suk Lim has served as Counselor for intellectual property in the Embassy of the Republic of Korea since 2021. Before joining the Embassy, Mr. Lim worked as Director of Multilateral Affairs Division, Director of Telecommunication Network Examination Division, Director of Broadcasting & Multimedia Examination Division in the Korean Intellectual Property Office and Administrative Patent Judge in the Intellectual Property Trial and Appeal Board. He also worked in the Supreme Court of Korea. Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Mr. Lim earned his LL.M. from Stanford University, LL.B. from Seoul National University and Bachelor of Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He received Korean Presidential Award twice in 2008 and 2016.
