Ms. Yen H. Tran is a Master of Environmental Resource Economist specializing in the intersection of economic principles and environmental sustainability. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at the Institute for Foreign Policy and Strategic Studies, Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam).
Yen’s academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the National Economics University (Viet Nam), where her fascination with environmental issues led her to pursue advanced studies in Environmental Resource Economics at the Australian National University, under the Australia Award Scholarship.
At the Institute for Foreign Policy and Strategic Studies, Yen contributes her expertise to cutting-edge research projects that address the complex challenges facing ASEAN, regional and global governance. She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop evidence-based strategies for promoting sustainable development, enhancing resilience to environmental risks, and fostering international cooperation.
