He previously served as the Political Officer in WHA’s Office of Mexican Affairs (2019-2021), Programs Officer in Embassy Lima’s INL Section (2016-2019), Political-Military Officer at Embassy Tokyo (2014-2016), and Vice Consul at U.S. Consulate General Monterrey (2011-2013). He also worked as a civil servant in EAP’s Office of Regional Security and Policy (2009-2010). Mr. Rodriguez also served as HECFAA’s Vice President for Foreign Service from January to June 2021.
Mr. Rodriguez is a 2008 Charles B. Rangel International Affairs Fellow. He earned an M.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University and B.A. degrees in Geography and International Relations from Florida International University. Mr. Rodriguez was born in Miami, Florida to Cuban parents.
