Dr. Danielle Cohen is a lecturer in politics and history at Lake Forest College. Her research interests include the politics of East Asia, demographic policy, and Chinese foreign policy. She is a frequent contributor to The Asan Forum, where she oversees the “Country Report: China.” Previously, she worked as a junior fellow for the China Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. She received her B.A. from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in government from Cornell University.
