Suh Chang-Hoon is the President of the Jeonbuk Daily Newspaper Company, one of the oldest and well-known regional papers in South Korea. The newspaper is closely associated with Woosuk University, which Mr. Suh also leads as its chairman.
In addition to his roles with Jeonbuk Daily and Woosuk University, Mr. Suh is the Director of the Korea Press Foundation, Director of the International Press Institute’s Korean Committee, Director of the Korean Association of Newspapers, Vice-Chairman of Research Foundation of the Korean Peninsular Peace and Economic Development Strategy, and Director of the Korean Private University Foundation.
He is on the board of directors of the Korea Economic Institute of America, advising on U.S.- Korea engagement and exchange. He received an honorary LL.D. from Beijing Technology and Business University and a LL.B. in Seoul National University
