South Korea Public Opinion Poll – November 27 – December 02

North Korea’s announcement that it would be launching a satellite between December 10 and 22 means that it coincides with the timing of South Korea’s Presidential election, scheduled to take place on December 19.
Will the DPRK rocket launch affect the outcome of the election? Only time will tell. But according to the latest Asan Public Opinion Brief, when asked which candidate was most capable of handling inter-Korean relations, 44.8% cited Madame Park and 40.6% cited Moon Jae-in.
