Mr. Kim June Dong is a senior research fellow at Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP). He joined KIEP in 1991 and served as the Senior Vice President of KIEP from June 2015 to April 2018. He specializes in international trade policy and foreign direct investment. He served as a chief negotiator of the Korean government for the DDA services negotiation at the WTO in 2005-2007. As a member of the Government Advisory Group on International Trade Affairs in 2010- 2015, he advised the Korean government on trade policies.
Mr. Kim has published several articles on trade and investment issues in Economic Development and Cultural Change, Journal of Asian Economics, and Journal of East Asian Economic Integration, etc. He holds a B.A. from the Seoul National University and earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
