About Jeffrey Robertson

Dr. Jeffery Robertson is Non-Resident Fellow at the Korea Economic Institute, an Associate Professor of Diplomatic Studies at Yonsei University, and a Visiting Fellow at the Korea Studies Research Hub, University of Melbourne. Before moving to academia, he worked for the Australian Government in the field of foreign policy and North Asia, focusing on China, the Korean Peninsula, and Japan. He is author of multiple works on South Korea’s diplomatic practice and administration, including Diplomatic Style and Foreign Policy: A Case Study of South Korea (Routledge, 2016), which explores analytical insight gained through the recognition and comprehension of diplomatic style. His research interests include diplomatic practice, foreign policy, Korean peninsula affairs. He writes and updates research at http://junotane.com and on Twitter @junotane.
