Isabel Jean Wecht is the Office Coordinator at the Korea Economic Institute of America (KEI). Prior to her current role, she was a Summer Research Fellow with the National Committee on North Korea where she researched the DPRK’s diplomatic relations with the nations of the world. She received her B.A. from the State University of New York at New Paltz in Geography and Economics and spent a year studying at South Korea’s economic development at Ewha Womans University in Seoul. Isabel received her Master’s degree in Conflict Resolution from Georgetown University. While there, she continued studying Northeast Asia with a focus on nuclear weapons and diplomacy.
