Doug Steinman is a Producer at the Korea Economic Institute of America. He joined in February 2021 to help the organization produce video content and bolster the live broadcasting of its events.
Prior to joining KEI, Doug was a graduate teaching assistant at the S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University where he completed his coursework for his Master’s Degree in Visual Communications. At Syracuse, Doug was the Visual Lead Producer for the multimedia news site The NewsHouse. In this role, he helped organize the award-winning Borderlands multimedia project, which sent journalists around Canada to report on stories regarding issues along the U.S-Canadian border.
He also worked for four years as an assistant for a writer at Sports Illustrated magazine, conducting research and assisting with interviews.
Doug earned his undergraduate degree in Electronic Media & Film from Towson University. During his undergraduate studies, Doug interned on the set of Netflix’s House of Cards (even getting a chance to appear in two episodes as a background actor).
