Michael Robinson

Professor Emeritus, Korean History

Michael Robinson is a native of Michigan and a graduate of the University of Michigan (BA, 1968) and the University of Washington (PhD, 1979). His Peace Corps experience in Korea led him into a career of teaching about Korea and East Asia. He taught at both the University of Southern California and Indiana University between 1980–2015. He has published widely on issues of Korean nationalism and colonial history. Currently, he is retired and living in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
